1. General

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Koh Lipe Divers website (kohlipedivers.com) and any diving, snorkelling, or related services provided by Castaway Divers, located on Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe, Thailand. By using our website or booking any services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services & Bookings

We offer scuba diving, PADI courses, snorkel trips, and related services. Bookings can be made via our contact form, email, phone, or WhatsApp. All bookings are subject to availability and weather conditions.

• •Bookings are confirmed once we respond with a confirmation message
• •Payment is due upon arrival at our dive centre unless otherwise agreed
• •We accept cash (Thai Baht) and major credit cards (a surcharge may apply to card payments)

3. Cancellation & Changes

• •Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled activity are free of charge
• •Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee
• •No-shows forfeit the full booking amount
• •We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule activities due to adverse weather, sea conditions, or safety concerns — in such cases, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered

4. Medical Requirements

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of physical fitness. Before participating in any diving activity, you must:

• •Complete a PADI Medical Statement / Participant Questionnaire
• •Obtain medical clearance from a physician if you answer “yes” to any question on the medical form
• •Disclose any pre-existing conditions, medications, or recent surgeries
• •Not dive within 24 hours of flying or consuming alcohol

We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe a participant's health could be at risk. No refund is given in such cases unless medical clearance is subsequently provided.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Scuba diving and snorkelling are adventure activities that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to decompression sickness, drowning, and marine life encounters. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

• •All participants must sign a PADI liability release and assumption of risk agreement before diving
• •Castaway Divers is not liable for loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in activities, except where caused by our negligence
• •Participants must follow all safety briefings and instructions given by our dive professionals

6. Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants carry personal travel and dive insurance that covers scuba diving activities. DAN (Divers Alert Network) or equivalent dive-specific insurance is recommended. Castaway Divers does not provide personal insurance for participants.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, photographs, logos, and design — is the property of Castaway Divers or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written consent.

8. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes. While we strive to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees about completeness or accuracy. Prices, availability, and schedules are subject to change without notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
